According to BlockBeats, on September 25, the Saturn Foundation announced that a STRN token generation event (TGE) is scheduled for Q4 2026. The second quarter activity caps 5% of the total supply of tokens reserved for allocation, with TGE timing, second quarter snapshot and actual activity cycles co-determining the amount ultimately available to users.

TGE node: from integration state to assignment confirmation

The token generation event is typically viewed as a key node for project tokens to move from the activity pooling stage into formal token issuance arrangements. Saturn points the STRN TGE time towards Q4 2026, meaning that second-quarter participant positions and accrual status will need to be confirmed via snapshots prior to release. A boundary condition given by the foundation is that if the TGE is conducted before December 8, 2026 then the second quarter will end shortly before the TGI and complete the snapshot.

Allocation rules: 5% reserve is linked to the cycle ratio

If the second quarter ends early, TGE allocations will decrease in proportion to the actual duration of the event. The unallocated portion will be returned to Saturn's ecological allocation for future seasons. For example, if an event completes 75% of its original cycle, only 75% of the reserved amount is distributed.

After the second quarter snapshot is complete, the third quarter will begin immediately. Eligible positions can continue to earn second-quarter points prior to their snapshots and users do not need to act at this time.
