The major meme market recorded approximately $448 million in 24-hour trading volume.
Major meme markets recorded about $448 million in core trading volume over the past 24 hours, a 16.7% day-over-day decline, according to GMGN's 24-hour trading ranking. The data was referenced as of 10:00 on September 28 and covered leading venues including Solana, Robinhood and BNB.
Solana Led Trading Activity Across Major Chains
Solana accounted for the largest portion of the total, with roughly $289 million in volume. That equated to 64.4% of the tracked meme market turnover.
Robinhood ranked second in the GMGN data, contributing about $111 million, or 24.7%. BNB followed with around $26.96 million, equal to 6.0% of the total.
The three most active projects listed in the ranking were e/acc, PAID and PONS.
Arc Stood Out Against a Falling Market
Not every meme market moved lower. Arc posted the highest day-over-day increase among the tracked venues, with volume up 31.4%.
The contrast with the broader 16.7% drop shows that activity was uneven. Most of the major meme markets cooled, while a smaller number of projects or venues still drew increased trading.
Meme Market Risks Remain Prominent
Wu Blockchain warned that meme coins are highly volatile and carry high risk, and advised against blindly following the market. The GMGN figures show declining turnover, but the risk profile of meme assets remains a central concern for participants.
