Trueo forecasts market migration from Base to Ethereum

Predictive marketplace platform Trueo has announced that it will migrate from Base to Ethereum for broader integration opportunities and plans to build a next-generation blockchain oracle system.

The project will go live in March 2025 at Base. After the migration is complete, the team says that their first priority will be to attract liquidity and launch a new generation of blockchain oracle tokens which are used for validating real-world outcomes as well as core systems for market forecasting.

Trueo explains that the decision to move from Base to Ethereum was made because of higher integration potential and product upscaling, whereas on Base, integration is limited to its peripheral ecosystem.

Trueo co-founder Joan Lumberg said on the X platform: "The Ethereum is the best chain for the most trusted neutral, authentic and reliable blockchain oracle system and forecasting market".

"As a new application and an experiment, it was the right choice at that time for many reasons to choose L2 like Base. The cost of Ethereum mainnet Gas is still too high, and some features in our applications are still being tested", Trueo said on X.

Trueo's ultimate goal is to be a widely adopted, deeply integrated, completely permissionless, fundamentally immutable and highly trusted platform. Ethereum best meets this combination of characteristics.

According to DefiLlama data, Trueo is currently ranked 14th in the on-chain prediction market with a total lock-in value of $795,687.
